  • Hi, I'm Susan. I am a Nationally Certified, Illinois/Iowa-licensed Massage Therapist and a proud graduate of Cortiva-Chicago School of Massage Therapy. After embarking on my massage journey later in life, I quickly realized the need to explore additional modalities to enhance my practice. In 2017, I discovered the transformative world of barefoot massage, a true game-changer for my clients and me!

    Now, I operate my own in-home practice in the stunning “driftless area” of northwest Illinois, just outside Galena, specializing in ashiatsu massage.

    My work often takes me around the globe, where I have the privilege of assisting elite athletes, including those at performance and Olympic levels. In 2024, I began my journey in national and international Massage Championships, proudly winning gold medals in Iowa and South Carolina and placing second in the prestigious European Massage Championships in Paris.

    As a DeepFeet Instructor, I am passionate about sharing the art of barefoot bodywork and helping you unlock the power of your feet in massage. Join me in the breathtaking Driftless Area or on location to elevate your skills. Let’s embark on this amazing journey together!

    When looking for lodging, please map out the distance from your hotel to the training studio before booking a room. You can drive for 40 minutes straight on the same highway and still be in Myrtle Beach. There are hundreds of hotels; here are just a few.
