Meet Lynn, Your Online Instructor!
Learning a new modality can be quite challenging, but I am here to help you build your confidence and refine your techniques. My goal is for you to leave the course feeling prepared to incorporate DeepFeet Techniques into your practice. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed massage professional, including running a successful spa in Portland, Oregon, and teaching Ashiatsu for over a decade, I am well-equipped to support your learning and meet your needs as an instructor. I look forward to meeting you in class!

Course FAQ

Each course is divided into weekly segments, allowing you to access the content as often as you need. You will be asked to submit recordings of yourself for feedback from your peers and the instructor.
Weekly Zoom calls will be held, and students must attend these one-hour meetings. During these calls, the instructor will answer students' questions, provide constructive feedback, and demonstrate techniques. Please click on each course to view the Zoom time and day.

Each course varies in the amount of study and practice required. Generally, we recommend a minimum of five hours per week, with most students dedicating between five to seven hours each week.

Yes! The instructor will continuously evaluate you during each week of class.
At the end of the course, you will perform a written exam and complete your final practical exam via Zoom with your instructor, who will then pass you for certification and advanced classes.

Both virtual and live courses have their advantages and disadvantages.
Benefits of Live Courses:
- Provides real-time feedback and hands-on instruction.
- Lasts for three intensive days, jam packed with information.
Disadvantages of Live Courses
- Limited time to digest the information.
- Additional costs for travel and potential missed work.
Benefits of Virtual Courses
- Lasts for 30 days, offering ample time to digest and practice the material.
- No travel costs and no impact on work commitments. Study on your own time.
- Slower-paced learning, with lots of feedback and a one-on-one final session with your instructor virtually.
Disadvantages of Virtual Courses
- Unable to feel the work from a fellow student
- Must have self-motivation and 6-10 hours per week for study/practice.
- Must be computer savvy and record yourself for weekly feedback.
