Who we are
Our website address is: http://www.deepfeet.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Visitor IP address and browser user agent string are collected to help spam protection. While we do offer a CAPTCHA filter on each form, the extra data collection keeps the form safe, secure, and ensures nothing malicious is input alongside the information we request on the form.
Our contact forms are strictly for the purpose of communicating with our visitors. The data collected is never shared or sold to a third-party.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We utilize Google Analytics to track our daily visitors, though we take great pains to make each visitor’s IP address anonymous. The information we gather from our Analytics account helps us to optimize our audience’s experience. Data we collect through Google Analytics includes –
- Device type (i.e. smartphone, tablet, desktop computer)
- Operating system
- Browser type and version
DeepFeet does not share any of our anonymous data with third parties, nor do we actively sell any of the information we receive from our users.
How long we retain your data
If you fill out and submit your information through one of our contact forms, the submission and any data we collect as part the submission are retained indefinitely.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have completed a contact form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor contact form responses may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
