| I
have been a licensed massage therapist in
Ohio
for 14 years. Today I experienced my first AOBT
treatment from Claudia Cox Plottner. This must be
one of the best treatments I have ever received! I
am amazed at how smooth and fluid the movements
were. I want to learn this modality so I can treat
my clients to the same bliss I experienced!!
AWESOME!!!

have been a massage therapist for several years
& needed a new spark to rekindle that massage
desire. Things just seemed so routine for me. This
was my spark! It has added so much good energy to my
practice & my clients love it. From the little
women I massage to the large guys! I also want to
add that a couple of years ago I noticed this pain
in my right foot between my 1st & 2nd phalanges.
My doctor had told me my bones were actually
"rubbing" together & that I could get
cortisone shots if I wanted to stop the pain. I
never did get the shots. I started learning AOBT,
worrying that the pain might get worse. The exact
opposite happened! I have no pain in my foot! In
fact, I am taking this week off to do some
advertising for AOBT as well as family stuff from
the 4th of July & the pain is back. Guess its
time to do some more AOBT! Again - Ruthie
thanks for taking so much of your time to master
such a modality. The massage industry needed this

As
a seasoned massage therapist who works on a variety
of body types from elderly to professional athletes,
I can truly say that the training received from
Ruthie was by far the best I have ever received.
I not only learned a new modality, which I have been
able to successfully incorporate into my practice,
but I have significantly increased my massage
business by over 40% by getting the word out that I
perform A.O.B.T.
If you are a massage therapist who is considering
taking this training, I would highly recommend that
you take the full course selection of training.
Don't just take the Barefoot Basics class and think
you know it all. What is taught in Deep Feet II,
Fusion, and Deep Feet III takes you to that higher
level of A.O.B.T. ability. In addition, you will
also gain a deeper understanding of proper flow,
working the anterior and side parts of the body, and
having the opportunity to be trained by the best
instructors.
Thanks Ruthie for coming up with this wonderful form
of bodywork and for helping me to become an even
more successful body worker!
Keep me posted on any new classes as they are
developed.

| Well, it's
like this...(addressing both fellow therapists and
you clients, as well)...Barefoot Basics is like an
"excellent melody"...well-written, unlike
ANY other out there, everybody loves it, and it was
destined to make the charts. Deepfeet Two and Three
took that same great basic melody and added some
FANTASTIC soulful accompaniment, and THEN...FUSION
came along...and gave it all this "groove"
that you didn't even imagine before you experienced
it (and now it's your favorite "groove-to"
number!) (Just having completed Deepfeet 2&3 and
Fusion last month in
Newport News
with Ruthie and Lynn, I'd like to thank them both
for a great seminar. Ruthie, your fun-loving,
down-to-earth approach to delivering your clear
wealth of expertise is soooo admirable. I look
forward to promoting this wonderful modality to
effect some positive health benefit in my little
corner of the world!) Thanks, Ruthie!

I
just had my first Ashiatsu message with Irit Levy. I
feel wonderful. That was by far the best massage I
have ever had. Last night I felt full of energy.
This morning, I am much more flexible in my quads.
my back, all over.
I had previously been having a monthly deep tissue
massage by some one else. Since having the
"deep foot" massage, I will have to cancel
my appointment. I think this is the only way to go.
Unbelievable! I am amazed at how I feel.
I can't wait until my next !Robin,

| I
have had 3 Ashiatsu sessions, and have found it to
be the best massage technique that I have ever had
done on me before...I have one of the forms of
Muscular Dystrophy branched from FSHD (Facioscapulohumeral),
and I have so much muscle tightness it causes pain
at times...sometimes almost unbearable amounts of
pain...I have tried regular massages, and in order
to get the amount of pressure needed on me with
regular massage it hurts, but when the ashiatsu
style there has never been a time where it hurt...if
anything I requested them to press harder...there
are a couple areas that I can't get done due to
muscle atrophy causing weakness in the joints, but
for the areas that I can have done it's awesome.

Ruthie,
I received my first massage utilizing the Ashiatsu
Oriental Bar Therapy® technique from Kim Tomlinson in
Denver
last week, and I must say that I'm quite amazed!
Prior to that massage, I didn't even know this
technique existed- the advantages of using your feet
and legs, with gravity as a force multiplier, to
give such a deep, forceful massage are enormous to
you and your client. You simply can't do this nearly
as well with your hands!. Personally, I like this
technique so much, I can hardly wait for my next
massage! Personally, I want to thank you from the
bottom of my heart for bringing this modality to the
United States
. I work as an orthopedic technician at Kaiser
Permanente, where my hands, arms, shoulders and back
get put through the wringer every day. For me, a
massage isn't just a "complementary"
technique-(where did they get that idea?) it's an
essential one for me. I know it isn't easy to bring
a "new" idea to acceptance in this day and
age, but as far as I'm concerned, you've succeeded,
and will continue to do so in the future. Many
people, massage therapists and their clients, have
reason to be grateful to you. If I can be of any
service to you in the future, please don't hesitate
to contact me.

| I
took Barefoot basics last weekend in
Everett
Wa
, & it was great! What a sweet modality - I can
hardly wait till the bars go up in our clinic in
McMinnville, Key to Health!! I think of myself as
more of an energy worker than 'deep tissue'
therapist; the work was quite comfortable both
giving & receiving; & as a dancer, I loved
the fluidity of the strokes!
Kudos to a great class, to our teachers Karen Lay
& Dari, & Ruthie for her work developing
this form!

| Last
week I went to
Denver
,
Colorado
, to complete Ashi two, three and fusion blend with
Ruthie the original founder of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar
Therapy®. It was great! I have a business in
Belgium
, my clients love AOBT, so I wanted to learn more
about the techniques. And I did!!!!
It was a very long trip from
Belgium
to
Denver
, but it was really worth it!!! I met great people
and learned a lot of new things that are wonderful
to give the BEST massages in the world and to grow
my business!

| I
just returned from Deepfeet Two, Three and Fusion in
Colorado
with Ruthie. Whew!!!! That was a lot of info to take
in in just four days. I'm glad that I waited after
taking Deepfeet One to move on. Ruthie's technique
is ingenious!!! I had a hand surgery that doesn't
allow full wrist extension anymore. I thought my
career was over....but not after Ashi!!!!! But,
besides that, I learned sooo much. This technique is
really cutting edge. I would recommend it to anyone
and everyone interested in any kind of massage. It
really is the deepest most luxurious massage on the
planet!!! And furthermore, Ruthie is the coolest.
Beats hands down anytime!!!!! Thanks forever to
Ruthie!!!!!!!!!

Just
returned from Ruthies class for Deep feet 2 and the
Fusion classes in
Denver
, CO. WOW! This is what Ashiatsu is all about!. To
be able to work this effectively, quickly and easily
is the best! Deep Feet 2 is a MUST ! But Fusion is
the BOMB!!! Its a no brainier that everyone should
take these classes to complete the training .
My clients are thrilled... and MY back is even
happier!
Thanks Ruthie

| Wonderful
instructors and modality. I attended Deep Feet I in
November 04 and Deep Feet II and III February 05 in
St. Pete, FL. Ruthie and Karen Lay were a joy to
learn from. All information was very interesting and
presented in a timely manner. Ruthie's goal of small
class sizes enabled me to have lots of one on one
instruction and attention. Her passion for
therapists to understand and personally feel the
strokes are an assurance to quality in delivering
the proper Ashi touch to the public. Introducing
this awesome new modality to my existing and new
clients has been a breeze. They all love it and
leave drooling. Being a small therapist, this
modality has help me to "work smarter not
harder" on my muscular clients. Thanks Ruthie
and Karen for helping me learn how to give "the
deepest most luxurious massage on the planet".

| I
took the ashi fusion, followed by the sidelying and
anterior classes in st. pete's a couple of weekends
ago with ruthie and Karen lay. I was really pleased
with the class size, and the location, and everyone
was friendly. I am so impressed that Ruthie created
this work, and I believe it not only has more to
offer than other types of massage, but also more
than what Ruthie may have intended in creating it! I
have introduced many of my clients to ashi, and they
love it, and now regularly alternate it with the back walking/thai-style
stretching/deep swedish bodywork sessions I have
been doing with them for years. so, I'm really happy
to have found ashi, Ruthie, and I will be forever in
your debt for having created such an ingenious
approach to fusing swedish and deep compression
massage. thanks again...

I
recently took the AOBT course in
Lexington
,
Kentucky
and was absolutely "blown away" by the
experience. I haven't attended a CEU course or
seminar in massage as good as this one.
If you're looking for something in massage that will
help save your hands, and extend the life of your
career, then this is the modality you should add to
your massage practice. It's worth every penny of the
money that you'll spend.
My group was fortunate to have Ruthie Hardee,
founder of AOBT, as the instructor for the course we
attended and I can't say enough about her. Ruthie is
truly a massage visionary, gifted therapist and
instructor. What a delight it was to work with and
receive instruction from her. Our class decided that
Ruthie is a "saint,"
demonstrating what seemed like limitless patience
and energy.
Thanks Ruthie!!!

Just
a quick note of testimony and my eternal gratitude
to your excellent work! I am currently working with
NFL players, coaches (and wives) who all require
deep, deep work. Never, never, never, never in my
wildest, wildest dreams would I ever have imagined
it possible! I smile as they say while sizing me up
on their first visit, "do you think you can do
it?" And my ego never tires of hearing at the
end "that was definitely the best massage I
have ever had, thank you!" So Ruthie, I warm
the tissue with hot rocks and I walk all over these
men and I am deeply grateful to you. Working with
these dedicated athletes that take such excellent
care of their bodies is a wonderful experience. As a
bonus, all of these men and their wives are truly
nice, sincere people and they have brought to me
great Joy!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!

I remember reading your article earlier this summer
on AOBT...loved it! I would love to learn anything
that would help save my hands/wrists/back...no
problems in those areas but don't want to wait until
I have problems. Besides, I'm sure my clients would
love it! A lot of them have back "issues".

| Hi
Ruthie - I love Ashiatsu! Thank you so much for all
your hard work bringing us this great modality. I
took your workshop from Janette in May. Here is a
quote from one of my clients. "Karen, aside
from the fact that all my muscles were stupid and
refused to do what I wanted them to do I was able to
eat and take a nap, when I awoke this morning there
was no tightness in my quads or butt or hips. My
lower back was a little sore but a good sore. All in
all I liked it a lot, keep up the good work, cannot
wait till next time. A BIG THUMBS UP TO YOU !

visiting your site. My primary neuro-muscular
massage therapist is Stephanie Hunter, of Jupiter.
She is an extremely capable therapist, but the
addition of Ashiatsu Bar Therapy has been a real
"lifesaver" for me. I suffer from the
result of multiple fractures and other injuries from
a car crash in which my car was broad sided 96 mph.
I'm impressed at the greater relief and the simple
fact that feet sure cover more area than hands. Best

function more effectively!

I
am writing to thank you for sharing this incredible
modality with me. I attended your April workshop in
Connecticut
. It took me several months to get a contractor in
to get the bars installed, but they went up about a
month ago and I spent the first three weeks
practicing(while your video played !).
Over the last week, I have begun incorporating it
into my
regular massage to give my clients a taste of the
most luxurious massage on the planet! They are
amazed at the feeling that this incredible modality
gives them! Back pain sufferers are amazed to get
off of the table and feel completely pain free! Neck
pain sufferers are amazed that I am working their
backs and relieving their neck pain! Most of all, I
am amazed...at how I feel... after only a week of
incorporating Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® into
some of my massage! My hands and back are PAIN FREE!
By sharing this technique with me, you have undoubtedly
added years to my massage career and given me an
incredible technique to relieve my client's pain.
I feel that you have empowered me, not only as a
massage practitioner, but as a human being. I
suppose that that sounds dramatic, but it is
sincerely and deeply felt (no pun intended!). I
cannot thank you enough. All the best to you!

a first timer and totally convinced this is the way
to go. As talented as Irit Levy of Beverly Mass. is,
Irit had a hard time getting to the deepest areas of

after pain, just a wonderful feeling. Thanks Irit
and Ashiatsu!

Hey
Ruthie! Sorry for the delay in getting this note
out. I cant begin to THANK YOU ENOUGH for bringing
this modality into existence! Finally a useful tool
for my toolbagSince I've been having problems with my wrist, due
to the possibility of an occult fracture, I thought
my business was doomed. This course and its careful
precise instruction has given me hope and a future
regardless of what happens to my wrist. This allows
me to be able to continue to do what I love!
Over the years I've taken many seminars and only one
other time have I ever felt like everyone jelled so
well that we didn't want the class to end
. It was great to be a part of that feeling again.
Wonderful to see and feel everyone go from being
tentative to confident. Again, many thanks to you,
Janette, and to
Lynn
for the class in Connecticut......cant wait to hear
from you when the Ashiatsu II comes out!
Stay Medial!
