Our
Ashiatsu courses are designed as a progressional enrichment
program. Everything starts with learning the fundamentals of
Barefoot
Basics first. The
one footed strokes taught in the Barefoot
Basics
and Anterior/Sideling workshops
have no height or weight restrictions. You only need balance
and coordination to easily deliver the application with flow
and grace. If you enroll in DeepFeet
Two
(advanced two footed strokes) and the Fusion-Blend,
we suggest that you have adequate upper arm strength to
counter-balance your body weight.
All courses meet ABMP and
AMTA eligibility requirements. Our courses meet the high
standards of the NCBTMB and we have been an NCBTMB approved
provider since 1995. Most states who have a regulatory
agency also recognize the same number of continuing
education hours. Our program has additional approval in
those states where we teach on a regular basis. Please
contact our office if you have questions regarding whether
or not your state has automatic reciprocity with the NCBTMB.

Benefits
of
Training
|
 |
With
our technique, the therapist uses long deep strokes
with their feet, allowing them to cover more
territory and avoid the use of small repetitive
movements with their hands.
There
is less time bending at the waist and the weight of
your legs is off the floor. Your spine is standing
straight. Your leg and torso weight is performing
the compression effleurage work -- not your hands.

Requirements
for
Certification |
 |
A
“Completion of Hours Certificate” is issued at
the end of any workshop if the hours have been
attended in whole. This proves you have completed
the credit hours and is used to document continuing
education hours with the
ABMP
,
AMTA
, NCBTMB and various state regulatory agencies.
