The Ashi-Thai self-directed course really gives you the freedom to work and study in your own time. It’s not only convenient, but it allows the body worker to explore the movements of Ashi-Thai to a depth they might not have been able to receive in a 2 day workshop with time constraints.  This Home Study is a complete training program which includes a comprehensive manual packed full of step by step “how to photos” to support the incredibly detailed companion DVD. Modifications to stretches and movements are taught throughout the DVD to accommodate practicing the postures at varying levels. This DVD is well-chaptered, which allows you to skip forward past sections and go right to what you are looking for. Materials presented in both the DVD & workbook are excellent for continued future reference. Contraindications, special safety remarks, and a wide variety of client restrictions are explained. Bar construction and design are included with additional essentials and set up for any practice.

Certification can be obtained in two various ways; you can schedule an appointment to perform a live Ashi-Thai session with one of our authorized instructors for a small fee or you can turn in a written test, accompanied by 3 client evaluations and a recorded DVD or Mp3 streaming video clip of you performing a session.
